About the role:

We're looking for a highly capable & experienced GM Equipment Sales to lead the key sales functions across the AB Equipment business. This will be a challenging and rewarding opportunity. Take your career to the next level with this role. Our product and sales teams need an inspirational leader to ensure we continue to deliver best in class sales & service. You will lead the planning, developing and execution of the equipment sales strategy, supporting business growth and enhancing our brands.

Based in East Tamaki and reporting to the CEO, you will also be an active and important member of the current Leadership Team. We believe we have some of the best people in the industry and with your drive, discipline and innovative approach you will add another dimension to our already strong team.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 3 years as GM or similar management level in construction/equipment/material handling/heavy industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrated leadership skills, knowledge and experience in the development and execution of sales and marketing activities.
  • Tertiary qualification preferred.
  • Exceptional customer-centric attitude & approach.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the Equipment Sales function achieving sales, growth and profitability targets.
  • Leading planning and execution of the strategy in sales and product innovation.
  • Positive development of customer and supplier satisfaction.
  • Maintain focus on the things we value; our people, our safety and developing our industry.
  • Active leadership of workplace health and safety, culture and business systems.
