About this role:
Support Office is looking for a switched on, highly capable Business Development Manager to expand and grow the sales of AB Equipment products within the port sector. You will be selling our materials handling equipment as well as Kalmar, terminal tractors and construction equipment.
Reporting to the GM Sales and Marketing MH, your role will be targeting specifically port and container handling operations on a National basis in conjunction with the appropriate Branch personnel to grow spare parts and service opportunities, while demonstrating professionalism and appropriate initiative.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Strong sales experience (min. 5 years in sales)
- Knowledge of machinery and aftermarket products we promote
- Customer focus with ability to build good relationships and key networks
- IT literacy e.g. Microsoft Excel/ Word, Visio and Powerpoint
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Driver's and Forklift Licence
- Proactive attitude towards health and safety
- Be a team player
