Support Office (based in East Tamaki)

About your new role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced GM- Finance join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for all aspects of financial strategy, control, financial planning and analysis for AB Equipment. In this fast paced role, you will be working closely with the group treasury & external financiers to ensure cash management, funding strategy, hedging & risk management all comply with the treasury policy.

What you'll need to succeed:

• 8+ years' experience in a similar role, with demonstrated ability as a Finance Director or Financial Controller
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce
• Proven ability to effectively communicate financial results and reports
• Experience with both Financial Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis
• Experience in leading and developing a high performing Finance team
• Ability to develop and measure strategic initiatives and systems
• Experience with developing and communicating value drivers, KPI's and dashboards
• Proven ability to develop and implement financial controls and process improvements.
• Previous experience of working in a similar industry would be advantageous

Key responsibilities will be:

• Actively participating as a member of the AB Equipment (ABE) Leadership team; developing company strategy and managing tactics and policies to deliver strategic outcomes
• Accurate and timely delivery of monthly financial reporting packs for ABE
• Providing support to formulate the organisation's strategic direction and supporting tactical initiatives
• Developing performance measures to support the strategy
• Financial accounting/control, including GL management, month/year end, Tax, AP. AR & operating lease (lessor) administration team
• Management reporting, including the development, reporting and communicating of financial measures, value drivers, KPI's and dashboards
