Regional Manager
AB Equipment is a leading, national materials handling and heavy capital and construction equipment business, fully owned by Hellaby Holdings, a leading NZX listed Investment Business.
Our mission is to be the market leader in materials handling, construction and environmental equipment, bringing together leading products from around the world with a dedicated, experienced team developing long term business relationships with clients by supplying equipment that allows competitive advantage in their operating markets.
Ideally we are looking for an individual who has a proven track record in construction equipment/materials handling sales and leasing, either in a Management or Sales Management role.
Key selection criteria
- Have proven team leadership experience.
- Be self-motivated, and able to work autonomously.
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic prospecting for new business.
- Experience in delivering 'zero harm' programmes in the work place.
- Awareness of competitor & market intelligence.
- The ability to establish firm relationships with Trade Allies, and related industry partners.
- Solid commercial awareness and the ability to run a full P&L.
Your key attributes will be;
- An ability to identify & reach out and influence key decision makers.
- Proven commercial acumen.
- Experience in the technical or heavy industrial equipment sales market.
- Ability to work with and build a team culture and build firm internal relationships.
