Rental Manager - Invercargill
AB Equipment Ltd is a market leader in heavy equipment sales, service and rental. Our network of 18 branches throughout New Zealand, sell and service some of the worlds most respected and premium brands in our industry including Toyota & BT Forklifts, Sumitomo, Sakai, Manitou and Vermeer construction equipment.
We are on the lookout for an extraordinary multi-tasker to help drive our Short & Long Term Rental forklift fleet. You'll be fast acting with the ability to think on your feet as you exceed our customers' expectations.
Key duties & requirement include:
- Promotion of our business to new clients while maintaining our existing customer base.
- Liaise with clients regarding pricing and equipment specifications.
- Monitor maintenance costs and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
- Be familiar with Forklift and Transporter regulations.
- Have or be prepared to obtain appropriate licences.
- Strong administration & computer skills.
- Have an excellent telephone manner.
- Selling of our Short Term Materials Handling products.
- Mechanically minded
Experience in Fleet Management would be an advantage but is not essential.
