About your new role

An opportunity has become available for a Sales Engineer to join our Lees Group team, promoting our full range of Marine Engines, Transmissions & Generators around NZ and the Pacific. The person we are looking for has a proven background in the marine sales environment and is ready to turn all that experience and skill into big earning potential. It would be advantageous for the applicant to have a trade background, mechanical or engineering trades preferred but applicants from similar backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Although primarily a sales role to the marine market, at times you will be required to assist other staff in the sales of Industrial engines and generators.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong sales experience (min. 5 years in sales)
• Ability to promote our business to new clients while maintaining our existing customer base
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• An understanding of Marine Engines & Generators, regarding application of these products.
• Self-motivated with good computer skills.
• Ability to travel nationally & occasionally the south pacific Islands
• Be a team player and actively contribute to the high-performance safety culture
