About your new role:
We are looking for someone who loves going the extra mile for their internal customer, our people. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll professional who is people focused to join our supportive HR team. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the payroll function ensuring accurate and timely payments to our people across multiple payrolls and companies. To be successful in this role you will need to have experience in processing large pay runs and ideally know your way around Datacom. Your intermediate + excel skills and a good eye for detail will ensure your data entry is precise. Your self-motivation and enthusiasm will really allow you to shine in this role. Our people are integral to our business so you will need to enjoy building relationships, be a team player, have a minimum of 5 years Payroll experience in a medium to large organisation and have sound knowledge of current NZ legislation.
What you will be doing:
- Preparing and processing weekly and monthly pay runs
- Responding to payroll related queries
- Providing payroll related reporting as requested
- Reconcile and pay PAYE for all companies on time
- Complete Statistics NZ surveys
- Reconcile Southern Cross invoices
- Manage the annual salary review process from start to finish
