About your new role:

Our Dunedin Branch is looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our Construction Equipment Team. Normal hours of work will be 40 hours per week, but you may be required to work additional hours at times.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in maintenance and servicing of construction equipment or a certificate in NZ Automotive Engineering Level 3 / 4
• Proven mechanical experience in some of the following areas: construction / materials handling / transport / heavy machinery
• Ability to provide technical support to customers
• Self-discipline for managing workload
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail on admin processing
• Current full driver's licence preferably with F endorsement and wheels, tracks, and rollers

Your responsibilities will be:

• Familiar with current engine, transmission and hydraulic systems
• Maintenance of hire fleet and customer machines
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships
